Hotel “La Camogliese”

A targeted intervention, the kind that often produces the most surprising results. Working on the existing furnishings, wallpaper and textile décor, we transformed two rooms at Hotel La Camogliese, demonstrating how much these elements alone can completely change the perception of a space.

For the first room we chose a vertical blue and white striped wallpaper, perfectly in tune with the maritime soul of Camogli. The existing headboards and bedside tables were repainted in blue, integrating seamlessly with the new wallpaper and becoming an active part of the overall composition. The coordinated curtains, decorative cushions and bed runner were designed and made in-house, echoing the same tones and completing a fresh, well-ordered space where the vertical pattern visually elongates the room.

The second room received an even more striking treatment: a panoramic wallpaper with a watercolour motif evoking the sky and sea at dawn, in a gradation of blues and whites that wraps around the walls and a particularly effective detail extends up to the ceiling. Here too, the headboard and bedside tables were repainted in blue, creating continuity between the furnishings and the wallpaper. The curtains, cushions and bed runner were made by us, with the blue band at the base of the curtains echoing the tones of the wallpaper without competing with it.

A project that confirms how attention to decorative materials and the quality of textile furnishings, even without overhauling existing spaces, can breathe new life into a room.
