Visual uniqueness for a hospitality experience that surprises
A vibrant, free and tailored design: this is how the new look of Hotel Doria’s seven superior rooms was created, designed to stand out sharply from the rest of the facility. The intervention, developed from a strongly identifiable concept, plays with round shapes, bold color palettes, and references to the graphic spirit of the 1960s, reinterpreted in a contemporary key.
The curved headboards, visual protagonists of the rooms, give rhythm and presence to the space, while the contrasts of deep blue, scarlet red and neutral white transform the walls into narrative elements. Each room is a small set, designed to provide an immersive and consistent experience that can surprise without sacrificing comfort.
We oversaw every aspect of the project: from design to construction management, coordinating craftsmen and suppliers to ensure quality execution and on-time delivery. Color freedom allowed us to experiment enthusiastically, resulting in rooms that were all different from each other but linked by a common language.
Again, we were suppliers of the textile section, taking care of the custom-made curtains, headboards, and upholstery, in perfect harmony with the chosen palette. Rattan lamps, stripes on the walls, and vintage details complete the design with lightness and irony.
An intervention that demonstrates how color, if properly calibrated, can be a powerful design tool to redefine a hotel’s identity and communicate uniqueness.
